Hello and Update on the Inactivity

Hello guys, this is Dogwhitesector speaking. Its been a long time since I last wrote these journals, well over two years.
How has everything been for you guys?
About the inactivity, unfortunately I'm still very busy in life, tending personal issues and also working on other projects that are in no relation the things I submit on Deviantart. So you're probably going to see the same activity from me as the last two years. Maybe I'll pop in occasionally to reply a few messages notes, other than that the same activity as always.
Though there might be a chance that a spark would come back to me, I don't know when that would be.
PS: Even though I wasn't there to reply your messages especially in regards to my birthday this year, I just want to say thank you to all the messaged me about it.

Currently on Hiatus (And Why)

Hi, its been a long time since I last spoke to you guys on DeviantArt. Anyway my sickness has healed, thanks for asking, and right now I'm a bit busy with both academic and personal projects.
However I feel that I should take a break of DeviantArt, since I would be doing some of my own personal projects for the next few months. That means I would be stopping the splatoon comic, and some of the Sonic fan characters bios. As for the My Past Comic, sad to say but its cancelled. While I still have so many stories that I want to show you in the M.P, comic, I feel less and less interested in continuing it as the years gone by. And the stories are now used for another project that I'm doing. I might post some sketches and early rough storyboards that I had originally planned out to show what direction I was going to take. Other than that consider the comic to be officially cancelled.
Back to my personal projects, most of these projects are unrelated to my submissions on DeviantArt, and I want it to be separate from this account, so that other people won't associate it with my previous works. (I do feel embarrassed whenever I looked at the artworks that I did prior to August of last year).
In addition I want to take more time into doing those projects and since it takes about around 3-9 hours for me to do a full artwork (excluding sketches), I would be cutting the amount of content that I submit for DeviantArt. I feel that I shouldn't spend that much time on them, especially the ones that I did in the previous 6 months. According to some of my colleagues and friends, they could do the same kind of drawing in half the time I do, so I would be trying out new ways and techniques to improve on my drawing and rendering skills.
Again, I would be on hiatus for a few months, there are possibilities of me posting and updating my status from time to time. Though once I could do artworks in half the time that it takes me right now, I might considering uploading weekly on DeviantArt. I might also post some examples that I am working on in the future just give you guys a sense as to where I'm heading.

Any goals that you set for this year?
Mine is getting better in using the tablet for my artworks, and branching out to other genres, anime to be specific.
