This his how I draw Sonic character's head
I'm using Sonic the Hedgehog as he is the holds the keystone of the Sonic series.

1) Draw a circle (Doesn't have to be perfect)
2) Outline the angle of the head (for me sonic is facing left)
3) Draw the outlines of the eyes and muzzle
4) Then add facial features (eyes, ears, mouth, etc)
5) Then Draw their hair, quills, or dreadlocks
6) Trace it with pen then erase the pencil marks.
There you go 6 basic rules to follow.

Basic rules if you feel that you can draw a Sonic character then use your own style, cause it may cause CONTROVERSIES!!
